The Pack A.D. is a blues/rock duo from Vancouver Canada. Formed in 2006 The Pack A.D. consists of singer/songwriter/guitarist Becky Black and drummer/songwriter Maya Miller.

Notable musical influences include old blues musicians such as Son House, John Lee Hooker, Blind Willie Johnson, and Muddy Waters. The influence of American blues singers such as Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin are distinctly audible in Becky’s vocals.

The guitar/drums blues duo has been compared to the likes of The White Stripes, The Kills, and The Black Keys. Notable similarities include choice of instruments and similarity in styles of music. The Pack A.D. has embraced the blues/rock tradition of often using a combination of rhythm and lead guitar with a steady drum beat. However the motifs of The Pack A.D. are unique; a soft side compared with the hard rockers of the early 2000s.
